Welcome to my website!
A little about myself my love of horses began when I was 3 years old. My grandpa put me up on some neightbors horses. My love of horses grew and grew. My dad and mom got some horses 2 quarter geldings and a bred quarter/welsh mare. Then it all began nearly 21 years ago. We then moved to Ava Missouri and began raising appaloosas. That is were I got my mare Plaudits M D. She was my 12th birthday present. We were together for 17 years and 3 months. I learned everything but the riding from this mare. My dad and I broke her together. That is how I got started working with horses. February of 2005 we got our heard of appaloosas. That is were Takoda Appaloosas began. We are going into our 2nd year of breeding, for some very fine horses. Our horses have some great pedigrees. May God bless us with a wonderful season this year. Smokey Pokey is a 17 year old Mini Horse that we had on our place when I was a kid. He now belongs to my kids. I have had pages for everyone else. Didn't want to leave him out. My kids do barrels and poles on him.
